Description

The Bachelor of Theology (English and Hindi medium) is a three-year online programme:

• Year 1: Spiritual development. This year involves some of the most important teaching that you will ever hear and have some of the most significant learning experiences of your life. The first-year courses have been built to ensure that you will experience real character and spiritual development.

• Year 2: Ministry skill development. This year is focused on building your ministry skills – leading worship and prayer times, leading small groups, pastoral care and visitation, children’s and youth ministry, evangelism.

• Year 3: Preaching skill development. This year is focused on building your preaching skill. There will be intensive training in biblical study and sermon preparation together with development of a strong theological framework to support this. As the year progresses growing attention will be given to speaking to the heart of the hearers in their heart language. By the end of the year you will have the training needed to sustain a God-honouring lifetime of preaching and teaching.

Who This Is For

This is for anyone who wants to experience the transforming power of the gospel and intends to be actively involved in a lifelong ministry, particularly as a preacher/teacher of the word.

On completion of this degree you will be eligible for admission to the MDiv degree of any ATA affiliated theological college/seminary. You will also be eligible to apply for admission to Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, for the Senate of Serampore two-year BD degree (required to pass the Senate of Serampore qualifying exam with at least 52.5% grade).

Admission Requirements

• Class XII pass

• Read/write/speak fluently in Hindi or English

• Completed application form together with submission of all required documents

• Pass mark in our Bible knowledge exam

• Interview

• Payment of tuition fee
