  • What is an online theological college?
An online theological college provides theological education through internet-based platforms, allowing students with internet access to learn from anywhere.
  • How does online theological education work?
Instead of classes in a physical classroom, classes are live and online. You can do everything that you would do in a physical class: speak to the teacher, ask questions, discuss topics with other students. And you will receive readings, assignments, and feedback on assignments.
  • Are the classes live?
Yes, all classes are live, and you will spend as much time in class as you would in a residential college.
  • What online platform do you use?
We use Limitless Classrooms for the classes and Moodle for everything else, such as quizzes, accessing readings, communication between teacher and student, etc.
  • What courses and degrees are offered?
Our college offers a range of programmes, from short courses to a full degree programme in theology.
  • What if my internet speed is too slow?
The platform that we use for the live classes is designed to work for slower download/upload speeds. If you can watch a YouTube video, then you should be able to watch the live classes without any problem.
  • Do I need a laptop?
No, all you need is a simple smartphone. The courses are designed to ensure that everything works on a smartphone; for example, you do not need to type assignments on a computer – they can be written by hand.
  • Are there any on-campus requirements?
No, our programmes are fully online.
  • Is the diploma or degree recognized?
The diploma and degree are awarded by Union Biblical Seminary (UBS), Pune, for all qualified candidates. Union Biblical Seminary is one of the most well-known seminaries in Asia. Accreditation by Asia Theological Association (ATA) of the certificate, diploma, and degree programmes through UBS should be finalized soon.
  • How do I apply?
Prospective students can apply online by filling out the application form on our website, and by submitting the required documents online.
  • How much does it cost to attend?
Tuition fees vary depending on the programme. We provide a detailed fee schedule on our website.
  • Are classes recorded so that I can watch them at any time?
No, classes are not recorded. Timings are fixed, and for most programmes classes will start at 8.30 am in the morning.
  • Can I interact with teachers and other students?
Yes, interaction is very important. Students can interact with teachers and other students in the live classes, through discussion forums, and by messaging via Moodle, the learning management system we use.
  • Who are the teachers?
All of the teachers meet the Asia Theological Association (ATA) requirements.
  • Can I transfer credits from previous theological studies?
We accept transfer credits from accredited institutions, subject to evaluation. Prospective students should provide transcripts and course syllabi for assessment.
